It's so fun to remember!!!

So I am very very far behind on blogging! So many fun things happened the last few months of the year that I really don't even know where to start to catch up. So I have decided just to go through pictures and post some of the favorite ones they may or may not be in any specific order just something that I want to remember. Plus since we had several family times in Hawaii the places are the same so...now on to the memories!

After the cast was put on his foot he wanted to come and show Grandma the damage. He is growing so fast but looked pretty tiny with that cast on his foot. It's hard to believe that we all watched as he jumped off the stairs and fractured his foot, he was so brave even though it hurt him pretty bad. Rebecca was his strength.


These women all amazed me at the strength they had this day.

Returning from Hawaii I got home in time to go to Idaho for this very difficult funeral. I was prepared for a very difficult experience and came home edified, strenghtened and comforted by this wonderful family. It was an amazing funeral and we were all touched by the Spirit as we were taught by the Mingo family.

Jelly fish right in the Ala wai Canal in Honolulu. Kerry and I walked along the canal and through Waikiki. We took lot's of pictures of the flowering trees and plants along the way.

While I was here in August Hawaii was bracing for a Tropical Storm that they were really worried about. Actually I was really impressed by the preparations that the city made. While the surf was up and it was really black and we got some rain the storm missed O'ahu and really wasn't an event. This rainbow was just beautiful from our room.

The pictures don't do justice as to how brilliant the color was this day.

Music

So I mentioned in my last post that Kerry spoils me, it is very true. This was my anniversary gift from Kerry, on top of the wonderful new Nikon digital camera he gave me for Christmas (I haven't taken a picture of it) Upon using this new gift I realized I could once again hear my music on my blog again, I hadn't realized how much I missed hearing this music i could hear everyone who has music on but I could not hear my own. I'm sorry for those of you who could hear it and maybe tired of my music selection but it is some of my favorite music and I have missed it so much. Music isn't it wonderful?

10 Reasons I Love This Man-31 years

Hard to believe that it has been 31 years that we have been married but it has. This past Monday we celebrated our anniversary in a quiet and simple way together. Both of us were not feeling very well but we were very happy to be together. We went and saw the movie "Leap Year" it was cute, I wasn't in the mood for intrigue or science fiction just cute... (By the way this man really spoils me!)

My top ten reasons why I love this man.

1. He is my very best friend.

2. He is always there for me, while we are separated physically often because of his work he is my support, my rock. I always know where to turn for support or counsel.

3. He is the smartest person I have ever known. He is constantly learning and growing. Discussions with him are always enlightening.

4. I love watching him as a Father and a Grandfather. I have always loved to watch him with little children and that never gets old. I love seeing the relationship with his daughters grow over the years it is pretty sweet. His commitment to his family is wonderful.

5. He has the most gentle yet strong hands, I still love to hold them. I can remember as a newlywed laying in bed at night and talking and holding hands and thinking how cool that was and guess what it still is.

6. He is such a hard worker and does everything to perfection. At the same time he is willing to drop something and go. My most recent example is last night as he came back to the hotel from a VERY long day at work and he did not feel well at all, yet he was willing to walk over to the beach and let me play with my new camera as the sun was setting, he really didn't feel like going anywhere except to bed.

7. I love his knowledge and understanding of the gospel. The man never quits studying and that is such a great example for all of us. He studies for his lessons and I wish that I could hear the discussion because I hear such wonderful things about them.

8. He is still very quiet but he serves and is so generous is such a quiet way. I'm sure there are things that he does or has done that many of us will never know.

9. I love that he honors his Priesthood and is such a good example in his professional life as well.

10. I LOVE HIS LAUGH

I just quite simply love this man and love that we move forward together into a new frontier of our lives!

Special Delivery

Yesterday I got the cutest phone call from Caleb he wanted me to go to the mailbox and get the mail in. I told him that the mail had already come for the day but he just wanted me to check and make sure. Today when Rebecca brought the mail in she had a big grin on her face because the special letter was indeed there. He had drawn a picture for Grandma and Grandpa and sent it to us. It made my day THANKS CALEB!

New Years Resolution

HaPpY NeW YeAr!!!!

My new years resolution is to catch up with my blog! I have been frustrated with my computer because it freezes up on me or due to operator error I have had lots of problems so I just quit. Sorry.

I hope that everyyone had a happy holiday season and that this finds you all well. Be patient I am going to make a few changes and get focused once again, life is so great and I am so blessed I can't afford not to get a record of it.
