Tanner's two

We waited for him to come and join our family for awhile but where has the two years gone since he finally did. I am having a hard time believing he is two.

Because Tanner loves "Cars" so much Natalie made this adorable cake for him. Natalie is so creative.
Olivia, and her bright eyes, in such a good mood for his party.
Jack decided to check out everything he could while the party was going on. He has discovered he likes cords, oh dear.
Time for all of those gifts, Rebecca scored early with "Stevenson" from the second movie, it was all he wanted to play with after he opened that.
His own car, he loved it.

My camera batteries died after this shot so I didn't get pictures of him and his cake. He stood up to the counter and turned around on the stool, grinning, as the entire group sang to him. He was so dang cute. When Natalie lit the candles and he immediately blew them out without and coaching like he had done it many times before. It was so cute and an image I will never forget.

Hoping it wouldn't happen

Though it is really hard to see the little stinker, Quate, finally found a way to get into the garden and get at the tomatoes. I called and called him to come into the house when he finally poked his head up out of the vines, grrr. When I ran to grab the camera he decided he better get out and was jumping over the fence when I got this shot. Little stinker!!

Oregon Get Away

Kerry and I have been trying to get to our favorite hide away most of this year. Every time we tried something came up. We were finally able to get away before Kerry's surgeries. I have come to love the Oregon Coast so much.

Whether on Oahu or along the Oregon Coast I love to spend sunsets by his side.

Of course Mo's is always a part of the trip but we were shocked when we got there and they had expanded into where Belinda's Candy shop was. Of course I was sad and ran to see if it was still sitting beside Mo's and it was. I don't like changes but am glad Mo's is still as good as ever.

Oregon is where I fell in love with these beautiful flowers. I just wish I could grow them at home like they do there.

Kerry and I went to the tidal pools by Otter Rock to see what we could find. I could almost close my eyes and relive that experience over and over with the girls.

We got fairly close to these Harbor Seals before they started to panic. The tide was coming in so we didn't stay and watch them for very long.

Close to devil's punchbowl. The time was so good to be with Kerry in our favorite place away from home and Hawaii. We also went to the BYU/ Oregon State game in Corvallis. I was a little nervous because we weren't sitting with the BYU group but it was silly to worry. The Oregon State fans were so gracious and welcoming. BYU played well and won it was really a fun game and experience.
