This one be fer Capt'ns Spencer 'n Caleb! We waited too long to spy the Black Pearl before she left the harbor and went into dry dock for repairs for the next "Pirates" movie.
This be as close as we could get (thar be a full time security guard to make sure) to the Pearl but there be no question it be her when we spied the sprit hangin' out the yard. Some swarthy hands stole her masts and sails, but they be makin' some new ones.
She be small but a might bigger than I had heard she be. Arrgh! It be fun to find her.

this is the best post i have ever seen. period.
How cool is that!
"And their making a new stage for Captain Jack to stand on to steer the ship!!!!" screeched Captain Spencer who continued, "And if He steers it around he will make it to the other ship to shoot all the rest of the ships."
He was a little distraught to see it with no masts and sails, but once I explained it to him and he understood that it would be like a brand new boat, he got very excited. Now we're hoping you will follow the progress of repairs and hopefully get pictures of her once the repairs are over.
How long is it expected to be in dry dock? Isn't that going to put a huge delay on filming the 4th movie?
Oh and I am with Rebecca, probably the best post ever on this blog because of the pirate speak! Arrghhh!
I am not sure how long it will be in dry dock. They are not real forthcoming with information. I don't think they really want throngs of people out there. It is a little difficult to find. In fact, if you use Mapquest, it sends you on a wild goose chase to Molokai - a completely different island!
