Easter

Part of our Easter tradition is to make deviled eggs with some of the eggs that had been dyed for the Easter Bunny to hide. Really it's the only time we eat them but once a year they sound pretty good.
We went to Dave and Jessica's for dinner. I had fun putting together a little Easter Basket with some goodies for the boys. They each got these cute little bunnies, they were so soft I couldn't resist them. (Sorry Jes) Caleb named his Bun Bun but the name for Spencer's changes each time I ask him.

After dinner part of the family decided to see if they could stuff a cupcake in their mouth in one bite. Some didn't have much trouble but others didn't so as well.

I love being together as much as we can, life is so hectic that it makes it difficult at times. Of course those who are far away like Cyd, Ken and Kerry are missed terribly!

Star Wars has been discovered by another generation of our family. The boys were taking in a little before they had to go to bed. Then it was game time for the adults. Fun times.
I am grateful for the importance of this holiday. I am so grateful for the Savior and his atoning sacrifice in our behalf and the knowledge that through him we can repent and one day be reunited with our Eternal Father in Heaven and have eternal life. What a great hope and blessing the gospel gives us. As well as the hope of being reunited with loved ones who have gone before us.

It is such a part of our family tradition that I have even made them for Easter dinner here in Hawaii the past two years.
