Out with the old one and in with the new.
So after 25 years of canning with a used canner it decided it was done, it wouldn't hold pressure anymore. I had to buy a new canner yesterday to do chicken with. They make me nervous so breaking in a new one wasn't fun. Actually it wasn't too bad and we were on our way to bottling 40 pints and 9 half pint jars of chicken.

hahaha! I have the funniest memory of you and the old pressure cooker. I was in the tv room and you were in the kitchen and steam started coming out of it...then I hear..."ahhhh ahhhh ahhhh ahhhhh" from the kitchen and you were standing there looking at it screaming because you thought it was going to explode. Hahaha good times.
What do you mean that scared me to death!!! Not funny!!!
It was pretty funny! I am sorry that it scared you, but it was funny. Reb and I still laugh when we think about it.
