After not being in Hawaii since January I was able to fly back with Kerry for most of the month. It was HEAVEN to be with him and just walk along the beach in the evening and talk as well as watch the sunsets!
Our first night on the beach there was a Korean Festival going on. We watched some of the dances and looked to see if the food was any good, it just seemed like the lunch specials so we opted to go somewhere else.
This is the area of the beach where so much of the new Hawaii Five O is filmed, it's kind of fun to see it on TV.
If anyone has guessed by now the sunsets from Waikiki are one of my favorite things and I was glad that we were on time for this one. 
This is actually one I took for my phone to put on facebook, not bad for a phone.

It's rare to see Orchids by the sidewalks and so we snapped this picture as soon as we saw it.
Within a day the blooms were gone.We walked along the beach and went to get something for dinner, by the time we finished we had missed the fireworks, sad, but the time was wonderful. Now it was time to get ready for the Lunts and Rebecca to arrive.
